This week's question:
What book would you recommend to to heat up your summer!

I've got this one. The book you need to read to heat up your summer is Bared to You, by Sylvia Day. This book is HOT, people. It's an erotic romance, and is the first of a planned trilogy. You will see some similarities to my boy Christian Grey, but I think Bared to You has hotter sex scenes.

Read it with the air conditioning cranked and a cold beverage nearby, because you will get HOT.

    1. I agree, Sharonda! I really liked Gideon - more than Eva, that's for sure. He's got a lot going on, but he's so ... HOT. And he can LAST, if you know what I mean. Men like him don't really exist, do they?

    1. Anna, you will not regret it. It is incredibly hot. There is one scene - the garden party scene - that you will not believe. After you read it, please PLEASE come back and let me know what you thought.

    1. Ning, you will like it, I promise. There is a story in there, somewhere, but you don't read it for PLOT, for goodness sakes. You read it for the sexy times, and there are sexy times in this book. I promise.

  4. Looks like several people have Bared to You listed as they DLS answer this week. I'm going to have to get myself a copy of that one. It looks fantastic!

    1. Emily, you will not regret it. It's much more raw (rawer?) than Fifty Shades, although there certainly are similarities between the two. The BDSM in this one is very, very minimal, although the foundation is laid (no pun intended) for a lot more in Book Two, which I think comes out this fall. When you read it, please come back and let me know what you thought!

    1. We do need more Gideon! I am fascinated by him and I want a Gideon in real life! WHERE IS GIDEON CROSS?

      Le sigh.

I don't think the second book comes out till the fall. Sylvia Day needs to step that up a bit.

    1. It is so good. Much rawer (more raw?) than Fifty Shades. Gideon Cross is an amazing hero - tortured, rich, HOT, and looking for the love of the right woman.

      Le sigh.
