18 & Over Blogger Follow #32

A little Friday hotness for you ...

Crystal, from Reading Between the Wines, asks us this 18 & Over question today:

If you could go anywhere in the world,
where would you go for a "readication"?

For a "readication," all I need is a comfy bed with high thread count sheets and good pillows, and reliable room service. Since I plan on ever leaving the room, it doesn't matter where I am. In fact, the less stimulating a locale the better, because I don't want to be tempted to forego the reading portion of the festivities.

No beach for me - the sweating, the sand, all that gloomy sunshine. Just a big, luxuriant bed with prompt room service that delivers good food. And a mini fridge, because I'm not paying for the minibar.

What about you?

  1. Hmm, I went with a beach, on a secluded private island, with a lovely little lagoon . . . but now I'm reconsidering. That hotel room sounds really good!

    1. I'd even go so far as to say that it needs to be raining. And cold. And yucky. All the better to keep my focus on what I'm reading. :) Thank you for visiting and commenting.

  2. Oh yeah I like your answer. I'd go for a plush couch too that you can just sink in and excellent room service :) Middle of Nebraska with no distractions would so work for me. I'd be too tempted to go exploring otherwise :)

    1. Hi, Anna - Thank you for visiting and commenting. Middle of Nebraska sounds great! I don't think I will be distracted from anything but reading. And I agree about the plush couch. Lazy as I am, even I get tired of lying in bed.

    1. Hi, Ana - Thank you! I appreciate it. I thought about a beach, but I don't like to sweat, because it makes my hair frizz. But it's tempting, that's for sure.

  4. LOVE your answers...my nickname that a good friend gave me is "CAT", cause I love taking naps...so give me a nice, soft, fluffy bed to fall into would be great! Of course, after my day at the beach.
